Golf Swing Biomechanics 'the stresses and strains'

Event Outline

This webinar provides a comprehensive look at the biomechanics, body requirements, and injury prevention strategies essential for golfers of all levels. Participants will explore the breakdown of the golf swing, the kinematic sequence for power, and the key planes of motion that influence efficiency. The role of fascial lines, ground reaction forces, and neural control will be highlighted, alongside practical insights from force plate analysis.

Injury prevention and recovery are central themes, with discussion of common stress points, risk areas, and strategies to optimize treatment outcomes. The session also covers the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, linking physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and sports doctors to support performance and longevity. Differences between amateur and professional golfers will be addressed to tailor assessment and intervention approaches.

Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to combine biomechanical insight, therapeutic care, and proactive strategies to enhance golf performance and reduce injury risk.
